Das Bergdorf liegt auf einer H\u00f6he von 1600m und ist bekannt f\u00fcr den gr\u00f6\u00dften Walnusswald der Welt. Der Zeitpunkt f\u00fcr unseren Besuch war gut gew\u00e4hlt, da die Walnussernte in Gange war.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Unterkunft bei einer Familie im Dorf<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Vor unserem Besuch in Arslanbop, kontaktierten wir die lokale Community Based Tourism Office (CBT) um eine Unterkunft bei einer der vielen Familien die Homestays in Arslanbop anbieten zu organisieren. Die Idee hinter dem CBT Konzept ist es die Lebensbedingungen der Menschen in abgelegen Region mithilfe eines nachhaltigen Tourismuskonzepts unter Nutzung nat\u00fcrlicher und erneuerbarer Ressourcen zu verbessern und neue Projekte in diese Richtung zu f\u00f6rdern. In Arslanbop sind fast alle verf\u00fcgbaren Unterk\u00fcnfte mittels CBT bei Familien, die einige Zimmer vermieten organisiert.  \nUnsere Unterkunft war sehr liebevoll gestaltet. Der Basar in Arslanbop war klein. Neben den Obst- Gem\u00fcse- und Kleidungsst\u00e4nden galt unsere Aufmerksamkeit vor allem den Menschen, die den Basar besuchten. Die Bev\u00f6lkerung hier, sieht anders als im Rest von Kirgisistan aus, da es sie mehrheitlich usbekisch ist. Der Betreiber des CBT B\u00fcros hatte uns einen Rundgang empfohlen, bei dem wir zuerst an einem Wasserfall vorbeikommen. Heutzutage ist der Wald in private umz\u00e4unte Parzellen unterteilt, die von den Familien gepachtet werden. Daher ist es nur erlaubt auf den wegen zwischen den Parzellen durch den Wald zu wandern. Viele Familien ziehen f\u00fcr die Walnussernte in den Wald und wohnen in dieser Zeit in Zelten dort und bringen ihre Kuh- oder Schafherden mit. Fasziniert beobachteten wir die Einheimischen auf den Parzellen beim Sammeln der N\u00fcsse und genossen die Atmosph\u00e4re im Wald.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image postimage\"><img Sie waren gerade unterwegs zu einer Tour durch die eigene Walnussproduktion in der Stadt und wir schlossen uns an. Es war interessant, mehr \u00fcber das Dorf und die lokale Wirtschaft zu erfahren. Auch lernten wir viel \u00fcber die \u00d6lherstellung und auch was eigentlich der Unterschied zwischen normaler und kalter Pressung ist. Die \u00d6lpresse f\u00fcr die Kaltpressung wurde durch eine deutsche NGO finanziert, um in Arslanbop die unabh\u00e4ngige Produktion von hochwertigem Walnuss\u00f6l zu erm\u00f6glichen. Nach etwa 4 Stunden waren wir in Osch, die Stadt wirkte auf uns gr\u00fcn und einladend.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>PS: Das CBT B\u00fcro in Arslanbop sucht immer Freiwillige, die dort mithelfen m\u00f6chten.
