Allerdings l\u00e4sst ist ein Besuch in Kashgar und dem \u00dcberwachungsstaat der autonomen Region Xinjiang nicht m\u00f6glich, ohne \u00fcber die politische Situation dort nachzudenken. Wir ersparen uns in diesem Blog weitere Ausf\u00fchrungen \u2013 googelt einfach (au\u00dfer ihr seid in China wo alle Google Dienste blockiert sind).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Die Unterkunft unserer \u201eWahl\u201c<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Da Xinjiang ein \u00dcberwachungsstaat mit eingeschr\u00e4nkter Bewegungsfreiheit ist, ist auch das Angebot an Unterk\u00fcnften stark beschr\u00e4nkt. Nicht-Chinesen d\u00fcrfen offiziell in 3 Unterk\u00fcnften in der Stadt \u00fcbernachten, wobei eine w\u00e4hrend unseres Besuchs bereits in Winterpause war. Daher viel unsere Wahl auf das Kashi Maitian Youth Hostel. Das Check-in dauerte, \u00fcber eine halbe Stunde, da das Personal kaum englisch sprach und sehr verplant wirkte. In der Lobby fand eine angeheiterte Geburtstagsparty statt, an der sich auch der Security und das Personal beteiligten. Leider waren wir <a href=\"https:\/\/www.goodridestories.com\/de\/2019\/11\/12\/irkeshtam-pass-kyrgyzstan-china-border-crossing\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"after hours of border controls and searching for the hostel (opens in a new tab)\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.goodridestories.com\/de\/2019\/11\/12\/irkeschtam-pass-von-kirgisistan-ueber-grenze-nach-china\/\"> von der Grenz\u00fcberquerung und der Suche nach dem Hotel zu ersch\u00f6pft, um mitzufeiern. \n.<\/a><\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Unsere Eindr\u00fccke von Kashgar<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In Kashgar gibt es alle paar Meter \u00dcberwachungskameras, Polizeistationen an fast jeder Ecke und patrouillierende Polizisten in Kampfmontur an vielen Orten. Abgesehen von der politischen Situation und dem \u00dcberwachungsstaat orwellschen Ausma\u00dfes, war Kashgar trotzdem eine gute Stadt f\u00fcr Touristen und Reisende, die eine kurze Verschnaufpause brauchen. Die Altstadt war ein, obwohl \u00fcberraschend touristischer, angenehmer Ort. Rote Laternen, futuristisch beleuchtete hohe H\u00e4user und unz\u00e4hlige Menschen die auf ihren E-Scootern durch die Gassen flitzen. Nachdem wir mehrere Wochen in Zentralasien verbracht hatten f\u00fchlte sich hier alles aufregend und neu an. Im Hostel lernten wir eine Taiwanesin, Eva und die Chinesin Honey kennen, die mit uns zum Nachtmarkt gingen. Eva half uns vegetarisches Essen zu finden da sie sowohl chinesisch als auch englisch sprach. Da es eines der wenigen vegetarischen Gerichte in Kashgar war, a\u00dfen wir es fast jeden Tag, bis Johanna eine leichte Lebensmittelvergiftung bekam und einen Tag im Hostel bleiben musste. Die kleinen braun-gr\u00fcnen Fr\u00fcchte schauen nicht besonders aus, sind aber ein bisschen wie kleine sehr s\u00fc\u00dfe \u00c4pfel. Johanna a\u00df an einem Abend ein halbes Kilo davon. Wenn es nicht die Ashlan-Fu Variation gewesen ist, die ihr Magenprobleme bereitet hatte, war es wahrscheinlich die \u00dcberdosis Jujube (\u00e4hnliches passierte schon einmal in Vietnam mit Lychees).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image postimage\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"576\" src=\"https:\/\/www.goodridestories.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/P1100478-1024x576.jpg\" alt=\"Ist eine \u00dcberdosierung von Jujube m\u00f6glich? W\u00e4hrend wir gen\u00fcsslich den \u00fcberteuerten Tee (wieder Jujube) schl\u00fcrften, am knusprigen Nan-Brot knabberten und der traditionellen Livemusik lauschten, f\u00fchlten wir uns kurz in die Zeit der alten Seidenstra\u00dfe zur\u00fcckversetzt. Einen Bazaar in Kashgar zu besuchen, f\u00fchlte sich besonders an, da die Stadt schon vor hunderten Jahren ein wichtiger Handelspunkt war. Wir verbrachten mehrere Stunden damit durch die G\u00e4nge zu irren, kauften aber nichts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Einen kompletten Gegenpol zur Altstadt bildete der Donghu Park, der teilweise auf Stegen \u00fcber einem kleinen See errichtet ist. Im ganzen Park finden sich beleuchtete Dekorationen und Formen, die durch riesige sich wiederholende Projektionen auf den umliegenden H\u00e4usern erg\u00e4nzt werden. Das Ganze schaut besonders gro\u00dfartig aus, wenn es im Dunklen im Wasser des Sees reflektiert. Der Besuch des Donghu Parks ist kostenlos. Wir hatten viel Spa\u00df dabei durch die Stra\u00dfen zwischen all den E-Scootern zu cruisen.
