Niinp\u00e4 yritettiin p\u00e4\u00e4st\u00e4 Yangonista Bangkokiin niin nopeasti kuin mahdollista, ilman ylim\u00e4\u00e4r\u00e4isi\u00e4 pys\u00e4hdyksi\u00e4.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Yangonista Myawaddyyn (Myanmarin puolen raja-asemalle)<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Bussimme Yangonista Myanmarin puoleiselle raja-asemalle Myawaddyyn l\u00e4hti Yangonin Aung Mingalar -bussiasemalta puoli kahdeksalta illalla. Bussiasema sijaitsi tosi kaukana keskustasta, joten ei ollut yht\u00e4\u00e4n liioiteltua, kun hostellilla meit\u00e4 kehotettiin varaamaan taksimatkaan kaksi tuntia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">T\u00e4llaisen luksusbussin kyytiin ei oltukaan viel\u00e4 t\u00e4ll\u00e4 matkalla p\u00e4\u00e4sty! Penkit olivat ruhtinaallisen tilavat ja pehme\u00e4t, ja bussiin astuessamme meille ojennettiin kaikenlaista v\u00e4lipalaa. Bussin em\u00e4nt\u00e4 kuljeskeli k\u00e4yt\u00e4v\u00e4ll\u00e4 pukeutuneena kauniiseen, perinteiseen burmalaiseen asuun.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Kun oltiin ajeltu jonkun matkaa, em\u00e4nt\u00e4 tuli meid\u00e4n luokse. Bussi olikin jo hyviss\u00e4 ajoin perill\u00e4, noin viidelt\u00e4, joten ulkona oli viel\u00e4 pilkkopime\u00e4\u00e4.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Bussi j\u00e4tti meid\u00e4t v\u00e4h\u00e4n matkan p\u00e4\u00e4h\u00e4n raja-asemasta, joten tarvittiin kyyti sinne. Saatiin taas kerran meille uudenlainen riksael\u00e4mys, kun meid\u00e4t pakattiin reppuinemme mopon etupy\u00f6r\u00e4n p\u00e4\u00e4ll\u00e4 olevaan isoon laatikkoon. Yleens\u00e4 vaihtokurssit rajoilla ovat todella surkeita, mutta jostain syyst\u00e4 t\u00e4ll\u00e4 kertaa saatiin jopa parempi kurssi kuin mit\u00e4 puhelimen valuuttalaskuri n\u00e4ytti.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Rajan yli Myanmarista Thaimaahan<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Rajanylitysprosedyyrit Myanmarin puolella sujuivat helposti. Paikalla oli vain muutama muu ihminen. Oltiin aikaisemmin mietitty, pit\u00e4isik\u00f6 meid\u00e4n hommata jotkut feikkilentoliput, sill\u00e4 periaatteessa rajaa ylitt\u00e4ess\u00e4 saatettaisiin kysy\u00e4 todistusta maasta poistumisesta. Ei kuitenkaan oltu ostettu mit\u00e4\u00e4n lippuja, eik\u00e4 niit\u00e4 onneksi my\u00f6sk\u00e4\u00e4n kysytty. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Toinen iloinen yll\u00e4tys oli se, ett\u00e4 saatiin 30 p\u00e4iv\u00e4n oleskelulupa Thaimaahan. Suomen ja It\u00e4vallan kansalaiset voivat saapua maahan ilman viisumia ja lent\u00e4en tullessa 30 p\u00e4iv\u00e4n oleskelulupa on oletus. Oltiin kuitenkin saatu sekalaista tietoa siit\u00e4, kuinka pitk\u00e4n oleskeluluvan maata pitkin saavuttaessa saa. Joidenkin l\u00e4hteiden mukaan se olisi vain 15 p\u00e4iv\u00e4\u00e4. Oltiin siis tosi iloisia siit\u00e4, ett\u00e4 saataisiin viett\u00e4\u00e4 Thaimaassa kauemmin kuin pari viikkoa ilman mit\u00e4\u00e4n extras\u00e4\u00e4t\u00f6\u00e4.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Koko rajanylityksen aikana meid\u00e4n ei tarvinnut availla reppujamme.
